Wedding table questions
How many tables do I need for 100 wedding guests?
With 60-inch round tables that seat 8, 100 guests need 13 tables (104 seats). With 72-inch rounds that seat 10, you need 10. Add a head or sweetheart table, a cake table, a gifts table and any buffet tables on top.
How many people fit at a 60-inch or 72-inch round table?
A 60-inch round seats 8 comfortably (10 at a squeeze). A 72-inch round seats 10 (12 at a squeeze). The calculator uses the comfortable numbers.
How many people fit at an 8-foot long table?
Eight, with three or four along each side. Ten if you also seat one person at each end. A 6-foot table seats six.
What size tablecloth fits a wedding table to the floor?
The usual rental sizes are a 120-inch round for a 60-inch round table, a 132-inch round for a 72-inch round, 90 x 156 inches for an 8-foot long table and 90 x 132 inches for a 6-foot one. Check with your linen company before you order.
How much space do the tables need?
As a rule of thumb, allow about 10 to 12 square feet a guest for round tables and 8 to 10 for long tables, for the dining area alone. The dance floor, bar and buffet need their own room, so ask your venue for its seated capacity.
Does this save my numbers?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser and nothing is stored or sent. Print the rental list before you close the page.
