Sharing a vacation rental? Split the rent by nights stayed and room size, add the groceries, drinks and activities, and see exactly who owes whom, down to the cent. WHAT YOU GET • Settings tab for up to 12 guests with fixed IDs P01 to P12, so duplicate first names never get mixed up • Stay Plan tab: enter each guest's nights and room weight, and the Nights split divides lodging by nights times room weight • Expenses tab for up to 150 shared bills with Equal, Custom or Nights splits (a weight of 0 leaves a guest out) • Shares and Weights tabs that work out each guest's share to the exact cent, with every cent accounted for • Repayments tab for up to 100 payments already sent, so balances update as people settle up • Dashboard showing what each guest paid, owes or should receive, plus a check that the totals reconcile HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Sample.xlsx to see an 8-guest lake house week with 12 shared bills. 2. Open Blank.xlsx, save your own copy, add names on Settings and nights on Stay Plan. 3. Add the rent as a Nights split and other bills as Equal or Custom. 4. Record repayments as they happen and read Pay or Receive on the Dashboard.
